We are from northern Michigan and had just spent our first winter at a new seasonal home in the Phoenix area. I flew home in mid-April and my husband had decided to fly home in late may after finishing some business, leaving our car in Arizona. After I returned to Michigan and started to make arrangements to fly my husband and our little pug home, I learned that seasonal restrictions prohibited my pug from flying out of Phoenix after May 1. I had quite a dilemma at this point. Thank goodnesss I found uShip. I received two bids right away and was impressed with the feedback of the bid I accepted. I saved quite a bit of money by meeting the shipper at an alternate destination, but could have had the dog shipped to my door and still had decent shipping costs. As it was, I was able to have my pet ground shipped for about the same cost as flying but without the trauma it would have caused her. I am confident she was very well cared for along the way.
