I needed to get Oscar home from MD. I normally would have just made the drive or flown to get him but timing was not good. So I started checking out small pet shippers. We own a USDA pre export isolation quarantine facility so we already have a horse shipping network in place. A lot of our affliates also do small animals but Uship was able to help us get him picked right up and delivered from door to door at a very reasonable price. That was a HUGE deal since Kellie has two small children, a part time job and horses to take care of. She lives about an hour and a half from BWI so to take the time to put him on a plane would have been a nightmare. It would have been very traumatic for the kids to see Oscar taken away at the airport. The trip back home would have been misearable for all parties. It worked out where Oscar was picked up late in the evening after the kids had gone to bed. Uship offered a quick resolution. The feedback scores for the hauler sealed the deal.
