I was very happy with the service received. I had placed bids with another online service (can't remember which one...) and was dumb enough to give my phone number and email address, thus was bombarded with phone calls and emails from shippers starting at 5 am PST the next day (the shippers were calling from the east coast...). Yuck. Needless to say, any quotes I got from them were at the very least double what I wanted to pay and ended up paying with Uship. Because of my experience with that first dismal failure, I'm very happy with the way my information was handled by Uship and the simplicity of accepting bids and even placing the order. I'll definitely pass word along to anyone I know who needs to move. It's kind of cool that I can help someone out while they do me a favor, and I wish I had known about it before I moved across the country.
Paul was really nice, considering I was trusting my personal property with someone I'd never met. The tradeoffs with this kind of arrangement are incredible. Everyone wins.
