My Grandmother was recently moved out of the small-town Iowa home she'd been in for 63 years into a nursing home. As you can imagine, that house held not only thousands of wonder-filled memories for me & my entire family, but also tons of furniture. I left Iowa twenty (*cough*)-some years ago and just set down permanent roots in California. Getting some of her pieces moved into my home was a daunting, emotional task and they handed them like they were their own grandmothers. They were also considerate of my fluxuating schedule and needs (living in the Hollywood Hills can be challenging for deliveries!). They communicated with me constantly so I never worried or wondered; I always felt my things were safe and secure. They are the kind of people you see in movies: good, true-to-their-word Midwesterners who make your heart smile. I have all gramma's things here now and I finally feel like I'm home. Thank you USHIP! And thank you Larry and Angi!
