I had an initial horrible experience with CRLtransit and wrote to uShip trying to get customer service involved. I was told that cancelled matches have different priority when it comes to feedback and follow up. I then realized, looking more carefully at your system, that this is the weak point in evaluating your service providers. A service provider who cancels a match, effectively cancels a possible negative rating. I'll explain. CRLtransit matched my bid. I tried unsuccessfully for a long time to obtain even the most minimal documentation from them regarding the requested transport. The person who answered my emails (the owner-operator) was not professional, not courteous and could not even write with basic grammatically correct English. At the point when I wanted to cancel the transport because I did not trust him, he cancelled the transport and left false comments as feedback. That is when I wrote to uShip and was basically told by uShip that they do not get involved with cancelled matches. Afterwards, I received several very unprofessional emails from the service provider which I did respond to as I had no other way to leave feedback (I just today found the possibility of responding to their feedback). uShip should let cancelled matches rate the service providers because I suspect a very different story would come out. A service provider who has started off badly with a client just needs to cancel to avoid having negative ratings. So now that I had a very unprofessional and horrible experience with CRLtransit, nobody will know because mine is not entered by your system as a negative rating. Only somebody who takes the time to scroll down reading all the feedback messages on their account, will find my comments. While my transportation need was subsequently and positively fulfilled by cargortsmx, I would have serious reservations about using uShip again just because of this flaw in your rating system and your reluctance to get involved.
