I usually haul my own horses from RI to Ohio, but I didn't feel well and needed to ship my 4 year old Stallion to Ohio for training before January 1st to be guaranteed a stall. I heard about UShip from a friend in Buffalo,NY that used them in the past with great results. I had received 6 bids, but one really caught my eye. We communicated back & forth and when the hauler said that he could accommodate my stallion within my time frame, "WEATHER PERMITTING", that was "it", I knew that he was the one because he was concerned about travel conditions hauling my precious cargo. His bid was not the cheapest, nor the most expenxive. If I did the hauling myself, it would have cost me very close to his bid, and by using the uShip hauler, I got to stay home and rest while getting updates every 3 hours on my horse. It was hard to imagine entrusting the safety of my quality show horse into the hands of strangers, but when I met them,it was evident that I was dealing with horse compationate people and I just couldn't refrain from hugging them and wishing them safe travels. Overall, it was an excellent experince and would not hesitate using uShip in the future.
