My name is Emily and I am in the United States Air Force, stationed at Barksale AFB, Louisiana.  I am a far ways from home (Pennsylvania) and unfortunately when I left home and headed for my first base, I could not bring my piggies.  My mom decided that she would watch my guinea pigs for me until we could find some way to get them down to me.  I have been in LA for about 3 months now and my mom was getting a little worn out with taking care of the pigs, she wanted me to agree to find them a new home, but I asked her not to and that I would try to find a way to send them down to me.  Guinea pigs are not the best kind of animal to bring on a plane, so that was out of the question, I didnt have a reliable enough vehicle to drive up, that was not a good idea, buses dont allow pets, and trains were way out of my price range!  I thought it was hopeless until I found UShip...I didnt think I would find anything affordable or acceptable here, but I said that it was worth a try.  As soon as I put my guinea pigs on uship, the bids came in!  I was suprised.  Thats when Pennxpress made his big for 150$. ; I asked my mom if she would split the cost with me and she didnt have the money, at first Pennxpress told me that he wanted half the money upfront, and it worried me because my mom said she couldnt do it.  I was very discouraged when I declined his bid, because I thought he would give up.  To my suprise, Pennxpress messaged me asking if I declined the bid because he asked for half the money upfront.  He said that if it was a problem that he would accept the money at pick up.  I messaged him back and told him that would be great but that I could not afford 150 at the time. ; Despite what people think, people in the military are NOT rich! ; :b I asked if he would do it for 100 and he agreed.  I was overwhelmed with joy.  Not only did he pick up directly at my parents house, but he dropped off directly at my place.  This whole experience was great.  He informed me the entire way of how my pigs did on the trip and made me feel very safe about this whole process.  Im so glad I can have my piggies here with me during my military journey.  Theyre very spoiled pigs and I could not live with myself thinking about someone else taking care of my pigs who I didnt know! ;
