My experience with Pete Mier was not positive. I accepted his bid based on communication from him and a low (but not the lowest) price. After I accepted his bid, I got nothing but silence from Pete on both cell and e-mail contact. I had to cancel and rebook the shipment, which cost me several weeks of time until I could make similar arrangements.
I would not accept a bid from Pete again and would caution others to be wary of such a shipper.

Larry Thelen, on the other hand, provided exactly the service he claimed and was careful and communicative. I would definitely work with him again.
The silent treatment from Pete was my first experience with uShip, and it cost me a lot of time and aggravation. It nearly soured me on the whole idea, and it still irks me to this day. Larry was sufficiently positive to give me hope that this concept can and does work, if the shipper can afford to be patient.
