That deposit that you pay does NOT go to the shipping company! I paid approximately $80 as a deposit on Uship. Naturally, I thought this would go to the company supplying the shipping services. Except when I talked to the driver, I found out that Uship charges you for a listing fee AND keeps the deposit! This is not an ethical business practice and Uship should notify the customer that this deposit does NOT go to the shipping company!
