My grandmother passed away this past summer, and we refinished her furniture (located in NY) for use in my home in Virginia. I was anxious about trusting this delivery to someone because the furniture had both monetary and great sentimental value. I had never used USHIP before but decided to try it. I was a bit skeptical, as the move involved two different pick-up locations and some very heavy items that would need to be moved up numerous stairs upon delivery. I got a wide variety of bids within a day, that varied dramatically in price and terms. I chose EasternState Trucking because their price was fair (in the middle of the range) and the feedback about their prior moves was excellent. We had a great experience with them. Gene called us to make all the arrangements. The movers were on time on both pick-up and delivery. The furniture arrived in great condition, and the movers unwrapped it and place it where we requested. This was a great experience and I definitely would use USHIP again.
