I purchased a classic runabout boat project from Rawhide Boys Ranch via eBay for less than $200 and was looking forward to my new hobby. Having just purchased an International Scout off eBay and spending $600 for delivery from Colorado to Memphis, I expected to pay maybe $300 for delivery for this little gem, but I was wrong. eBay estimates were higher than the Scout delivery so I turned to USHIP and looked for bidders with a $200 starting price and a $299 ship it now. I received some outrageous bids, some 4 times the purchase price of my boat, motor and trailer, and a few around $500. I wasn't very happy with the thought of paying more to more the boat than buy it, so I raised my price a little to get more interest. Within a dew days, I ha more bids and one that met my price. The provider, John9, a college student and new provider, was eager to pick up my boat for my asking price of $299. I knew USHIP had cleared him as a provider, so I accepted his bid and told him how to get it. John picked my boat up on Tuesday morning and delivered it on Wednesday morning - 24 hours from pickup to delivery! I was amazed and pleased. John is an honest and pleasant person. He doesn't have enclosed trucks or a semi, but if you have a small item that can be towed by a large van or will fit in one, look him up. I would use him for this move again and not be worried about my goods whatsoever.
