I left out of Illinois with my hot tub loaded on a snow mobile trailer that I had purchased just for moving it to Idaho. We made it to just west of Des Moines and blew both driver's side tires. Not to mention that it was 11:00 pm when it happend on the interstate. They could not get tires for several days and I had to get to Idaho so I could start my new job. I was going to rent a trailer from U-Haul to move everything that was on the trailer with the exception of the hot tub, but the price that U-Haul wanted I could buy a brand new trailer so I did. We loaded up the next day and headed west. I couldn't decide how to get the hot tub out and my wife was growing frustrated that it was the only thing that hadn't made it for the move. At that point I turned to U-Ship. My experience was pretty good. The guy that moved the repaired trailer and hot tub had his own problems getting here. His hitch broke loose from the frame on his van and then when he was about an hour away he was pulled over by state police who proceeded to search his vehicle and my hot tub for drugs. They did not find anything and left everything strung out on the side of the road for him to put away. With all that it took to get the hot tub out here I certainly hope my wife appreciates it and remembers this the next time I screw up.
