As a Harley Rider, you trust NO ONE with your bike! Don't even look at it without permission! This was probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, right along with getting my dog shipped up here to New England. I requested a few bids to get an idea of what it would cost, and if I should go down and get it myself. Prices ranged from around $400 to $1300! That's AMERICAN dollars! So, how do you make a decision on who to use, and trust with one of your most cherished possessions?
Since taking off of work, renting the truck, gas, etc...I decided to look more seriously at transport. Most of the bids expired the next day. Not good when you have to wait for payday to pay up front. I saw Bens bid, very very reasonable for the distance, and sent him a note with my delima. "NO, Problem!" I'll work with you. HE DID! And he, and his better half are such great people. I was still trying to decide when, and if I could financially do this now. He said we can work something out, "Because if you can't trust a fellow rider, who can you trust?" When I heard that, that sealed the deal!
I am probably one of the more skeptical, suspicous people when a deal seams to be to good to be true. Well, It's true!
Stop looking at the rest, and use the best!
Thanks Ben and Rose! Ya'll are great! We will take that ride before I head back to Texas.
Be Safe...and stay in touch!
