I had just "acquired" an old Corvette on the other side of the country and didn't want to take the time to fly and drive it back. Google returned uShip when I searched for auto shipping and when I noticed it was tied to eBay I was sold.
I was fortunate enough to find a guy with an empty trailer a few miles from my Corvette who was headed my way. There's no way I could have shipped that car for less than $1,000 through traditional means, but I did it for under $500 using uShip. The carrier got to earn money on his way back and I got to save money on my shipment.
As a finance company with thousands of car loans, I am certain I'll be using uShip again.
