Any boat haul can be a nail bitter for the boat owner but mine was a triple threat. I bought a boat at an online auction in another state 150 miles away just from a few photos. I have a pickup and a trailer from another boat and was seriouly considering picking it up myself, I even put a trans cooler in my truck for the long haul ($60 & 2 hours labor)and I then I realized when I was making a list of what I would likely need to laod it myself that I stll had to buy a spare tire for my trailer and repack my bearings just to be on the safe side. The do it myslef idea was starting to get expensive and I still had to take a day off of work to make the trip so called a local hauler I know and he wanted $750. for the haul. I googled around a bit and found uShip, they provided me with a selection of haulers interested in the job.
After I read some feed back on them I made my selection and with very little notice for $385.Rob Lauer pick up my boat with his disel dually and a winch on winch off setup on his trailer, drove it 150 miles,he kept me informed all along the way & called me when he was 30 minutes out (I was at the beach with my wife having a beer ) and blocked it for me at my house. I am so glad I let uShip do what they do best I will always call them first
