I was faced with the challenge of transporting my 1923 Jewett Touring Deluxe automobile from Florida to Montana this summer. I'm a school bus driver and father of four, so I needed to accomplish this as inexpensively as posible. I submitted requests for quotes from several auto shipping companies advertised in the collector car magazine I subscribe to. The bids that came back were far beyond what I could afford, so I began to make plans to tow the car to Montana myself with a borrowed trailer. This was going to mean time away from my family, but seemed like the only affordable option.
One week ago, while discussing my plans with a friend, he suggested checking with uShip. He had previously used their services and was pleased with the result, so I decided to take his advice.
Believe it or not, as I write this my car is in Montana and I shipped it for half the cost of the lowest bid I recieved outside of uShip. Best of all, I get to spend my entire summer with my family.
