Working several deals to acquire another tractor, two of which were being negotiated remotely via the internet. I put out bids for shipping both units, and when one fell through simply canceled it.
The other did materialize and because the bids were initiated prior to the deal being done, the winning bidder was loading the tractor within an hour or so of the seller receiving payment and was delivered later that same night.
I don't know how things could have worked out any better - dealt with an honest seller, got a fair price on the tractor and shipper was very fair, punctual, and communicative.
Definitely a win-win-win.
