At first, Heartland Movers had a hard time making it to the pickup. We had to reset the date and I had to make the 150-mile trip to Mom's old house AGAIN. But, to be totally fair, Antonio called me continuously during his attempt to meet the original appointment and only rescheduled when he could not overcome an equipment malfunction AND ensure the safety of moving my mother's piano. Truthfully, if he had not reset the time, I would have. Neither of us was comfortable using second choice equipment for this operation. On the second date, there was some wiggle room in his estimated time of arrival, but we did get together. The crew was careful and conscientious with my belongings. They cushioned and secured the piano then graciously made arrangements to take the organ also. My daughter accepted delivery later that afternoon and I understand they were very attentive to placing the pieces as requested and avoiding damage to either the furniture or the house. They did all this under the threat of very severe thunderstorms but they were calm under pressure. I was pleased with the price and with the move. I appreciated the great level of communication. I would highly recommend Heartland Movers to anyone else and will use them again if I need a professional.
