You have your great experiences usually after you've found out that things DO NOT always go as planned. I had a bad experience with U SHIP, (a no show, no communication sceanrio)and then I accepted DLAWSON to ship my motorcycle after the 1st accepted bid failed. Dan Lawson -- is this guy buttoned up? A real pro! and he and his brother Kelly were frist class guys. You will be able to watch this little operation grow over the next few years. They care about the customer, they commmunicate, and they keep their word through tough weather and elements.
I had asked Dan if he could get the bike to me from Northern California to St. Louis by Thursday. He was to pick it up on Tuesday and had other bikes to deliver on the way. Not only did he make it,, he was able to get there by 4 in the morning. The least I could do was get my butt out of bed. According to mapquest it is a mininium of 30 hours driving to get between these points. Talk about charlie hussle, these boys make Pete Rose look like he never got out of bed. Watch these 2 guys grow this shipping business. They will be a major factor for U ship in the years to come.
I will use U Ship again,, but I will try and make sure it is with Dan Lawson. sk
