Cycle9 is a custom builder of bicycles. They built for me a prototype heavy-duty electric-propulsion cargo hauler on an elongated Surly Big Dummy frame. It's a very long, very heavy bike that puts out over 90 ft-lbs of torque at full throttle. It can carry about 350 lbs, including rider, and it can tow a trailer. Once it was built, we needed to ship the bike from North Carolina to my residence in Virginia. Through UShip, I received about a dozen bids for the job. I selected a small firm called Ploughboy, and their service was flawless and timely. By using UShip, I was able to avoid extensive disassembly which Fed-Ex ground would have required. I'm satisfied.
