We were RV camping near Washington, DC. The morning we pulled out, our kitten had slipped out unnoticed. We didn't notice she was gone from the RV until we were just short of the Ohio state line. Luckily someone at the campground noticed her, assumed she had been ours and got in contact with us. We were left with the conundrum of how to get her back to Northern Michigan. We hadn't had her long and had yet to get her to the vet for her vaccinations--so flying her home wasn't an option. Aside from uShip, we pursued a number of avenues in attempting to get her home, including contacting family in the area and also contacting our Senator's office. All provided leads, but nothing concrete. uShip came through as the one lead that made it happen and kitty was transported home safely!
