I had to race across country from Washington State to Maryland in seven days to accept a job. In order to make the commitment I had to leave my fishing boat and truck in Washington State. I had found uship about a year before but I never had a need for it. This time I pursued it and placed an AD. FearlessBen answered that AD and we agreed on a price. When I first contacted Ben I was leaving Washington State to drive cross country. Through a series of emails and phone contacts I was able to check his references and get him the keys to the truck and boat. Ben picked up the boat in Washington State and headed cross counrty through some of the nastiest weather you can imagine. He drove through snow in Wyoming, driving rain down pours and heavy winds in the heartland states and used good sound judgement. Ben is just a super guy to work with and he was so flexible. As you can imagine with me racing across to meet the demands of my new employer I wasn't able to do all the things I needed to do. I asked Ben if he wouldn't mind getting the truck serviced for oil and other misc things, and he was flexible enough to do it. I can't say enough about the job he did. He handled himself extremely well under very difficult conditions. He is a very skilled driver to tow a boat through those conditions. Its always been my experience that when things get tough people don't always communicate well. Ben is the exception to my experience! He kept in contact throughout the trip through text messages and voice mail given the time differences.
