Regular trucker was in Texas and couldnt make a pick up.
I had a trailer purchased at a Goverment liquidaters sight in Maryland and a deadline to get it out. Some Goverment Liquidater sights can be hard to work with so it was critical the shipper was flexable and professional.
Went on USHIP and put it out for bid, picked the lowest bid and asked several questions and was asked several questions by the shipper. We agreed on the general terms and I accepted his bid on USHIP.
We "met" on line after the bid was accepted and worked out the details.
I had never used USHIP before so I was a little skeptical but it suprised me how easy it was. I was comfortable with the protections offered me and the shipper by the USHIP system, they were enought but not restrictive.
I am quite happy with the overall experiance and will use it again.
