I live in New Jersey and found a boat in Jacksonville Florida that I was very interested in. I woke up 3:30 am on Saturday February 28, drove an hour an a half to Philadephia where I caught a flight to Jacksonville. Took the boat out on the St. John's River for a test drive, handed the owner a check and then logged on to UShip to accept a bid. Owner of the shipping company said he would have a driver there in 20 minutes (he actually made it in 15)to haul the boat to New Jersey. I returned to Philadelphia late that afternoon at the same time the boat was being hauled away. As I write about this experience, I am happy to report that the boat arrived three hours ago (March 1)safe and sound. Not bad considering some of the NASTY weather encountered by the shipper along the East coast. I definitely would use UShip again.
