After buying a car on Ebay (which was straighforward and easy), I began to try and arrange for transportation of the car from the dealership to my home. This is where it got complicated until I discovered the uShip site. At first I tried using one of the internet sites for automobile shipping that allows you to put in the pick up location and the delivery location and then 5 or 6 transport companies submit a price. The problem I had with all of these quotes was that none of them was willing to tell me when the car would be picked up or when it would be delivered. When pressed, all they would commit to was that I should have the car within two to three weeks. When I happened upon the uShip site, it allowed me to put in the dates I wanted the car picked up and delivered. Within 12 hours I had multiple quotes, and Goheen Enterprises was able to pick up the car on the first day it was available for pick up. From the time that I put the information on uShip to the time the car was delivered to me was seven days - much better than the very vague two to three weeks in quotes from other sites. I like that uShip allows you to specify the dates that you are looking for shipment. The price from Goheen Enterprises was excellent also - about $100 lesss than the lowest price I had received earlier. Paul Goheen and Steve, the driver, did a great job. My car (a 2008 Lexus) was delivered in perfect condition.
