My husband and I found Max the dog on an adoption website. According to the website, Max would be euthanized on January 13, 2009. As we already have two large dogs, we debated whether to adopt Max. However, Max's face haunted us. We contacted uShip, and we were immediately contacted by Nelson. Nelson picked up Max for my husband and I in Lavonia, Georgia and promptly delivered him to Houston, Texas. He took wonderful care of the badly abused dog, and by the time Max arrived in Houston...they seemed to have formed a bond!
I am happy to report that Max is adjusting well to his new surroundings, and his two brothers. Thanks to Nelson we saved his life, and will be able to provide him with a loving home!
