Our dog Bucky was stranded after our flight from Paris ended with us landing in San Francisco instead of Salt Lake City as originally booked. With a wintertime embargo on dogs with all airlines going to Idaho Falls (our final destination)and our inability to find an SUV to rent for the long and difficult drive, we opted to fly ourselves and leave Bucky in the hands of a transporter. This was not an easy decision for us, as we are very attached to Bucky. The timing of our first tranporter's availability and my husband's new job meant that we had to leave Bucky behind in a strange kennel waiting for him to be picked up. Then our first transporter fell through due to a family emergency of his. Thank goodness ASAP and Shawn were able to come in at the last minute instead. They did charge more than the original transporter, but they were able to come through, and still cost considerably less than the other pet transportation services that I looked into online. I'm so glad I found uship.
