After a year in restoration, I needed to transport our beautiful 1969 Karman Ghia to our new home in Santa Fe, NM. Having owned the car since 1977, I was concerned about how I was going to get our classic car across 2000 miles without having to drive it. I was advised by Mike, who restored the Ghia, that uShip was a convenient way to get bids on shipping vehicles. The first bid I received of $899 was lower than the prices I had previously received. There was great communication between the shipper and myself in discussing when my Ghia was to be picked up in Florida and when the approximate arrival date would be in New Mexico. The Ghia arrived on a beautiful Wedndesday afternoon just prior to a georgous sunset and was unloaded in a matter of minutes. I took a few great pictures of the Ghia being off-loaded. I would certainly use uShip in the future.
