Much to my dissapointment, I had to ship my Ultra Classic Harley Davidson back from the DC area to the San Diego area after riding it there and using it for my only transportation for the two months of the construction project I was in charge of. I put on over 7000 miles on the trip and wanted to stop and visit family on the way back. However, when my employer needed me back in a hurry and I wanted to be home for Thanksgiving, I had to ship my bike home. I found uShip on Google, submitted my information, and received bids even though, at that time, I was not sure if I would need the service. The bids had expired when I finally made the decision, but the price held and I made the deal. Due to the shipper being stranded by a previous delivery, my bike didn't get picked up until the 10th day after the contract was accepted, the maximum time allowed in the contract. Heavy snow in the midwest slowed the shipment by a few days, but every few days I received a call from the driver and knew exactly where my bike was. The actual delivery was at 10:30 at night, with my complete approval, and Ricky continued his excellent customer relations right up to delivery. I was pleased with the level of comunication, the care given my property, and the cost, even though my company paid, not me. I'm just glad to get my scooter...
