In the last couple of years, I have found a very satisfying hobby in restoring and riding vintage mopeds. One of my friends alerted me to a deal for 4 pretty rare Carabela mopeds in Mobile, Alabama. The price was great, but the distance was more than we could reasonably travel without taking a few days off of work. So my friend told me to try Uship. It took about a week, but I was able to get a fair price on shipping from a gentleman that just happened to be passing near AL on his way to MI in his travels. I was very pleased; he was more than comfortable communicating with the seller without needing me as a relay and maintained excellent communication with me during his trip. While nothing near next-day shipping, considering the price and level of service, I am very satisfied that I got my money's worth. He even had some fun checking out the collection of vintage mopeds in the shop! It was a real pleasure doing business with him and I hope that perhaps if he's ever passing near a good deal again, I can use his services.
