I have never used a shippping company before. uShip's web site gave me a huge database of info on shippers and their background and reviews. This in itself made me very comfortable in doing business "over the net".
uShip is an invaluable resource. It proved to be a honest, upfront, reliable means of securing shipping services locally or nationwide.
I received bids immediatly upon posting and through uShip I was able to confirm the providers
bids, check their background and track record as well as communicate with them for details, The process is completly open and transparent with no hidden agendas or side deals.
I chose Russell Transportation. I had an extremly tight time frame for shipping and a potential hurricane coming did not help matters. Russell Transportation went out of their way, leaving to pick up the shipment between torrential downpours and delivering it in a lull between storms
uShip's simple, easy process of posting the bid, receiving bids from providers, picking a shipper and finalizing the deal made that posibble.
I was very pleased with the quality of service providers that bid.
