When I was getting my VW Beetle a friend said I was talking as if adopting a baby. Hence, when the bug arrived it got nicknamed "Baby". And she is babied. So, the thought of handing her over to complete strangers to be driven across the country, Ottawa, Ontario to Vancouver, BC filled me with terror. I got some costs from big companies to put her on a container, but felt the lack of personal care. Then someone mentioned to me "try UShip". Not being much of a techie, I was a little big unsure. However, the site was nice and easy to use and I was able to post my needs. I got a couple of replies quite quickly and decided to go with CarsToFlorida. They weren't the cheapest, but as their main business is the "snowbird" run I thought they would most likely be good value and take care of my "Baby". And they did. Darren was always available to communicate with and once Baby had been handed over to the driver he let me know his cell number so I could contact him anytime. Actually, I didn't feel a need to contact him because I felt confident with the company. So, I was able to hop on a plane with confidence and head out to Seattle to get married. With a wedding to plan, the removal of the stress of moving baby was great. Baby arrived and was collected by family, who were doing some family winging-out around weddings. Once again, CarsToFlorida came through as professional and courteous. It was easy to pay my final bill through visa, and Baby is on her way to Seattle this coming Saturday. My brother has taken over and is bringing her down. All-in-all, using UShip was a great choice. I will recommend UShip and CarsToFlorida to clients and friends. Thanks for the opportunity to tell my story.
