Recently I bought a 57 Chevy from a fellow in Reno, it runs and drives but it needs some work. I thought I might drive it home. I suppose that's not that unusual except that I live about 1400 miles away and I had never actually laid eyes on the vehicle ! Well, common sense prevailed and I decided to have it shipped instead, but then the problem became " how do I find a reliable shipper to trust with my new baby?" Uship to the rescue ! I signed up and listed my shipment and within a couple days I had an assortment of bids to choose from including one from a great guy named Rick. Not only was he willing to work at a price that fit my budget, he was able to schedule the pickup and delivery within the narrow window that would make it possible for me to meet him and transfer the Chevy to the next leg of the journey. You see, because I live in Canada, the truck had to be imported into the country which I planned to do myself.
Rick was great, the truck arrived on time and in perfect shape, we had a quick bite to eat, unloaded the truck and everyone was on their way. I drove the truck across the border and into Vancouver to another waiting truck where it was loaded and sent the final 500 miles to it's new home. Everything went easier and problem free more than I could've hoped for. And Rick and Uship were the biggest part of making it happen that way. Thanks Rick and thanks Uship!
