I hadn't seen my dog in 3 months. He had been living in Minnesota for 3 months rehabilitating his torn ACL with my parents. I had just graduated and moved to Austin to start a job out of college so I did not have the time to care for Boomer after his surgery. No planes would fly him because it was too hot and we couldn't find the time to make the trip North or South.
