I've been searching online for certain danish teak stools for my kitchen counter. I finally found the right ones at the right price in south Florida, but I live in a northern suburb of Philadelphia! I was looking at all possible shipping methods to see if it was realistic financially. I put up a post on UShip (had never tried it before or heard of it), and I received some bids. Glen's was pretty close to my target range.
I checked out freight shipping via greyhound, and it was almost the same price! I reviewed Glen's feedback, and felt very comfortable with him shipping my beloved stools.
I called, and got ahold of him right away. He let me know the planned pickup and delivery times. I think I accepted the bid Wed. or Thurs., pickup was Sat., and delivery Sunday! I now have the stools in my kitchen. :)
Faster than we had hoped for, arrived in good condition, plus Glen had it the entire traveling time. A nicer thought than the anonymous workers on the bus line.
Would use uship, especially Glen again! :)
