I shipped a Mini Cooper from Dallas to SW Florida. Hiring a transport carrier was cheaper than flying and picking it up myself. Excellent experience with multiple offers at better prices than other places on the web. Feedback and question ability on the site is great. The estimated pricing feature is a nice guideline but may be too low to get a quality shipper.
Hints: Find someone with a good price, lots of positive feedback (check out their feedback). Call or email them and get a confirmation as to price, insurance, pickup and delivery (and what windows they may have). See how they are communication-wise PRIOR to the sale and they should be the same way afterwards.
I tried listing it at various sites and could never get a firm commitment as to pickup. I would try uShip again PRIOR to listing it with some of the other broker sites. Good experience.
