I was buying a boat up in Michigan for export to Europe, got a price on the marina to ship it to either Baltimore or New York for 5000$, I thought the price were a little bit stiff, so I searched the Internet for some options.. Found this U-ship site, and thought I'll give it a shot. I usually buy boats in Florida, and have my shipping company down there, so I put in the ad that I wanted transport to either New York or to Florida for this boat. In a few hours I got several bids to take it all the way down to Florida, and the price were lower than they gave me for New York. After some mails back and forth with some of the bidders, and checking the feedback, I felt that Yachtman was the guys for me. They were ready to pick up the boat the next morning, but the boat yard weren't ready until later that day. Even if Yachtman had little time, they waited 3 hours on the boat and picked it up. They sent me some pictures of the boat going out of the harbor, and all the way down to Fl. Jake III sent me updates on where the boat was and when to expect it at the port. As usual at the port there were some misunderstandings, so they had to wait another 3 hours down there to deliver. The boat is now in a cradle ready for shipping to Norway, the buyer here is thrilled that the transport was that fast, and so am I. The price was great, and so was the service!
