I recently purchased a 1972 Land Rover Lightweight and Sankey Trailer. These are British military vehicles that are quite rare. I had originally contracted with a local shipper whom after being two days late to pick up, denied ever agreeing to do the job. By the time I realized that it had fallen apart it was already the delivery date. Bear in mind that the truck had to go to the shop for prep and then off to a Off Roading Rallye where it was to be a featured guest. At this point I had to have a shipper that day or cancel the event. I reinstated my Uship request and was not having any luck. Two bids later still no luck. Then at mid-afternoon Eric bid. He was new but answered my question with forthright and confidence. In short I accepted the bid and as we spoke on the phone I knew even more that he was the right man for the job. He left that evening to pick up the vehicles, unfortunately it was pitch dark when he arrived. He still tried to load them onto his trailer and truck but felt that it would be too dangerous. We spoke and decided to get a fresh start in the morning. The next day he was thre at the crack of dawn loaded the vehicles and was on his way. He arrived the next morning, unloaded the vehicles and waited for me to arrive. When we met he was just as he appeared on the phone, confident, professional and most willing to do his best to complete the job in a most satisfactory manner. In the end he took a bad situation and turned it around to what I now consider a most successful transaction.
