We moved to Florida in March of 2007 leaving our dog with great people who we knew would love her and take good care of her. Almost a year passed and they contacted us to tell us they could no longer keep her and needed paperwork to find her a new home. My family and I were just talking about how much we missed her.I started secretly trying to find a way to get her to Florida without my children finding out about it, in under 2 weeks and on a serious budget, the airlines have temperature restrictions so that was a no go. I searched all of the internet for pet carriers they were way too expensive, then I ran across UShip. What a great tool. We placed out bid out there and had several responses, but Bob & Teri seemed to be the most pet friendly people we encountered. They promptly answered all of our questions and even had a few of their own for us! After accepting their bid, they kept in constant communication with us before pick up and on the trip. They had to keep her at their home over night and treated her like their own. They were even able to get her here early so I could surprise our children with her at the bus stop. I honestly think the dog got attached to the family in a very short trip to Florida!! I will definately use UShip again and will look to Bob & Teri if ever I need anything shipped!
