I had to ship a Scamp Travel Trailer from California to Washington state. Due to my commitment to my job and the winter weather concerns I had to find someone to haul it for me. I used the shipping duo John and Jeanine Baker (jazzyrunner05) through "USHIP". Due to severe winter weather and some mechanical delays I had to wait an extra three weeks but that is totally acceptable. They delivered it to my home yesterday and now we can go camping in a Travel Trailer instead of a Tent! I do however have an advise to those thinking about buying large somewhat pricey items from out of state. In my case, the Travel Trailer was fairly clean with some minor damage that I can fix easily. However there are problems with the wiring and the electric brakes which I was not informed of by the previous owner. I did have some of my family members to look at the trailer before buying it but obviously they are not experts. My word of advise is that it is very important to look at the vehicle you intend to buy in person and if you are personally satisfied, then you can put down a deposit and arrange for shipping companies to pick it up for you. These particular travel trailers are hard to find (in good used condition) specially if you live in states like Washington or Oregon but if you find one in good condition and reasonably priced you have to move quickly or they will be gone very fast. I found my travel trailer on line through "rvtraderonline.com". I checked the website everyday for a month and the day that this particular trailer became available, we bought it. At last I like to add that I am pleased with the shipping couple John and Jeanine Baker and the way they handled the entire process. Sometimes the cheaper rate also comes with good service !
