Normally, when buying big or heavy items on ebay, I would not consider auctions farther away than I could drive to for pick-up.
But in this case, I was looking for a pretty rare engine for a vintage Lotus sports car and could not be picky about the distance when one finally came up on ebay.
I know nothing about a bill of laiding, or what shipping codes to use for my kind of freight. But Tyler at UTI, and R&L Carriers were great, friendly and helpful, and did exactly what they promised.
They quoted a great price, and included free residential pick-up using a lift gate, which helped the seller tremendously. They made it hassle free. My engine made the trip from Arizona to Massachusetts without a nick or scratch.
