I was informed about Uship by a car carrier from Canada. I had been trying to get my car shipped from Calif. to Texas for over a month. I had used the internet to find a transporter. I googled all the usual phrases: (car moving, car transporter, carrier, etc.) I got many responses, all from brokers. I chose one and althrough they were friendly, they couldn't find me a carrier. I didn't realize that all they do is put it up on a private dispatch board and leave it until someone calls them back. When they did contract a carrier, he failed 4 times to pick the csr up as promised. This went on for about a month. I found a carrier in Canada who told me to try Uship. Well from that moment on I was on easy street. Their website is easy to navigate. After I put my car information on it, the info came up on a public board .I got 5 responses in about 2 hrs. I was able to negotiate directly with them. I chose DOCBOB and after a little more information was passed back and forth. I received my car 3 days earlier than expected.
I do have some advice for Uship. I don't know if it was what I googled but their name never came up when I was looking to have my car transported. I would tell them to have their web master put more key words in their site so google would pick them up.
MY thanks to Uship and DOCBOB again..
Good Luck Guys
