I was shipping a Boston Terrier puppy from Nashville to Union, SC. The air freight price had gone up substantially since my last shipment. I hadn't adjusted my shipping cost to the buyer and would have been loosing money on the purchase. I was told about uShip by another dog breeder, so I decided to give it a try. I received several bids, but they were off a day or two on shipping dates. My puppy had to have a vet certificate and I had to wait for that appointment. Linda contacted me with the right date and a very reasonable price. It was much cheaper that I had originally budgeted for a airline ticket. When I accepted the bid, she called me to get pickup details. I then found out she was shipping horses thru SC. This was very reassuring, since I was also shipping a live animal. She was actually early to meet me at the pickup location. I gave her an envelope with the puppy's registration and new owner instructions. I also gave her 2 copies of a receipt of delivery to have signed by the purchaser of my puppy. I included a self addressed, stamped envelope for her to send me back a copy. I aked for and received a phone call from her after she delivered the puppy. I also promptly received the signed receipt of delivery in the mail. It was overall a great experience. My puppy was shipped with the minimum of trauma to him. He rode in the cab of her truck all the way there. She stopped and walked him a couple of times, too. And the shipment actually cost me less than anticipated. I was very happy with the transaction.
