I live in San Jose, CA and decided to buy a Corvette 450 miles away in San Diego, CA. I was pretty convinced I would make the drive myself and started the auction to receive prices purely for interest alone. As the time came near, some things came up that made me decide to ship my car. After 14 bids for both open and enclosed trailers, a bid came through from a shipper who specialized in exotic cars and would ship in an enclosed trailer. Others had used this shipper successfully. It wasn't the cheapest bid, but his past experience and great reviews convinced me to spend the extra money for his services. I accepted the shippers bid on Wed afternoon and arranged to have him meet me in San Diego on Friday morning, just a day and a half later, during the short 3 hours I would be in town. The shipper showed up on time as promised, and delivered the car the next day, on Saturday. I couldn't have been happier and the transaction and process could not have been easier.
