I decided to adopt a special needs (blind and deaf) elderly dog. The dog - Annie - was in Ohio and I live in Virginia. I had never used uShip before and wasn't sure how it worked. Once I learned, I went online and placed my bid. I accepted a bid that eventually fell through because of the Shipper having family difficulties. Needless to say, I was disappointed and worried that I wouldn't find anyone else. Well, along came Lou! She accepted my bid and we contacted one another fairly quickly. She drove to pick up my sweet little Annie in Ohio and delivered her here to me in Virginia despite 2 different snowstorms coming through the area. She planned her trip so that she was traveling in between the storms! She called me several times during the transport and expressed her genuine concern for my new dog. When she arrived, she took the time to explain to me her concerns about Annie's health and she even asked me to contact her again and let her know how Annie was doing. I could see the love, care and concern for Annie in her words, eyes, gestures, and so on. I have never had a better experience with someone who was transporting something so special to me. I would recommend her SO highly to anyone. She made my first uShip experience an absolutely wonderful one!
