I am living on an island in the Caribbean and needed some construction equipment transported from a Caterpillar dealer in Tennessee to Port Everglades in Florida, for export. Communications from here aren't easy and sometimes power and internet are out too which just makes things more frustrating. Not the case with this load....Dave & Diane came in with a bid that helped them get home from another trip and saved me several hundred dollars over the next best bid. As a small business owner I also wanted to make sure I used an independent carrier rather than a broker that would "sub-out" my valuable load. Dave is DOT certified and carries the insurance I wanted to make my trip happen. They delayed leaving when I had a problem getting the pick up arranged on time but made no fuss about it. They had a broken trailer light which in turn, was fine by me for them to make another brief delay over, and at the same time ensured me of their professionalism and dedication to safety. All in all, everybody was professional flexible and most importantly, helpful. We emailed from the day we agreed on terms to the day of delivery and after. My machine was where I needed it to be, along with some extra parts, when I needed it to be there. Overall, my experience with uship.com and this carrier in particular, has been fantastic. I would have no problems in recommending both these services to friends I think can benefit, in fact I already have. I will be adding their Paypal fees and a small tip to our agreed upon payment as a gesture of my satisfaction for service that exceeded my expectations.
