We shipped a family of 4 Terriers (Parents and 2 puppies) The overseas flight took over 12 to arrive O'Hare airport in Chicago at 5:30 pm. There our USHIP service provider sk1143(6) was waiting at the airport, the health department released the dogs in a short time to the US Customs, sometime around 6pm, where they had to find someone to do the Customs' procedure with imported pets. We were told that they may not be able to do it the same night...this scared the hell out of us, our thought where going to the small doggies: Do they have water and food? Are they warm enough? How tired are they now after bing locked in the kennels for about 20 hours, are they crying, or barking? We were very much worried about the doggies, we even thought they may get sick or die at the airport. THEN at 9 pm the Customs released the doggies to our USHIP service provider who called us and said the doggies look to be OK. WHAT A RELEIF. Then he took them to his house for an overnight sleep, and drove them about 1200 miles to Northwest Austin, TX. It took our service provider around 39 hours to deliver the FOUR LOVELY TERRIERS,when we released them they were running back and forth, jumping, licking us and playing with our Poodle... there was the big party of 5 doggies now. Thanks God they are here safe and happy in Texas after a 3 day Journey on air and ground. MY PHILOSOPHY SAYS: He Who Loves a dog must has something extra in his life.
