On one of my recent visits out west (BC), my parents decided I was finally mature enough (I'm 37 for heavens sake) to take over the care of the family beast. OK. Perhaps they simply realized I would give it more attention than they were going to now...
The challenge although small in comparison to the world travels it's been through (Italy, Kuwait, UK, Canada, UK, Canada (Toronto, then BC, and FINALLY back in Toronto) was to find an organization happy to help move this (currently non-runner in need of a little TLC). Harder than it should be in this age, but so be it. I have nothing positive to say about the many "Larger very well represented moving companies" other than to say thank you for constantly suggesting "I call someone else". Thank you...NOT!
My father stumbled across uShip via our mutual friend...Google. After a couple of org's "going missing".. a personal accident was the cause of one, not sure about the other. Ian (with Dave and Lauralie) surfaced as as interested bidder. They happily walked me through my numerous questions of doubt and safety (car insurance for my new family member). Oh. btw, my wife and I just gave birth to our first son. The moving story consumed enough of our (alright "my") time, that when I announced that our new baby had arrived, several of my friends thought the car had finally arrived (as I had been searching for a shipper for seemingly...EVER). I had to assure them that no, no, our little prince was first, and will always come first. Most of them gave a gentle, "sure sure" look. But it's true!
Anyway. Both are with us and both are healthy. Bot require an almost daily wipe down (differing reasons). What more could we ask for. Thanks Driver35 Team! May your future "baby" deliveries be smooth and brisk
