I have a small farm and train Thoroughbred Race Horses. The property was my Grandfather's and I was fortunate to purchase a portion of the farm from my Father before he passed away. Working on a tight budget, I came across the perfect sized JD Tractor on E-Bay. I was hesitant to bid on such an item over the internet, however, the seller (Easterauctions)was very congenial and more than willing to give me the information I requested about the equipment before my first bid (even after several calls for additional information I forgot to ask previously). At that point I felt confident in bidding for the tractor, but was also concerned about purchasing an item in Maryland and having to ship it to Ohio. If it would not have been for the super experience with Easterauctions, I probably would have been just as uncomfortable purchasing transportation from an auction format, and paid a lot more! U-Ship was as easy to use as I had been told. Having the information on the service provider and the ability to ask questions made the transactions comfortable and built my confidence in the program. I accepted the bid from Herman Baker of Herman Baker Trucking. Herman is very professional with lot's of experience; his equipment clean and well maintained; and great communication up front and prior to delivery. But the real selling point for future transactions was Herman himself! His actions and demeanor reminded me of my Father - it was like doing business with a trustworthy friend. His business isn't just a 'job' and his customers are not just a point on the map! * Awesome experience with two super businessmen. U-ship and E-Bay are a great combination as well!
