I had my 10 year old Haflinger mare shipped from NY to OK by Robert Shelby. The whole process was easy from using UShip for the bid and having the quick response from Robert (R and K Livestock Hauling) to getting the horse delivered to my barn. Some other horse transporters have been a nightmare to use (i.e. communication, pick up dates, rates) but this has to be the most positive experience I've ever had using a commercial transporter to move my horse. Robert was very friendly and all the animals he had in his care looked comfortable and not stressed out from moving across country. My horse had a box stall so she could easily move around and she was not at all stiff from travelling for 2 full days. His equipment was clean and well taken care of. I can't say enough good things about Robert and his wife's company/business. I am still fighting to get my deposit back from another shipper who cancelled on me so I will gladly use Robert again for his services. I will also use UShip for any other large items I need to have moved. UShip was easy from start to finish. Thanks!
